It Is Time to Check Your Intervals

Part of the engineering that goes into designing a vehicle is testing the components to ensure that they meet durability and safety standards. Because of this, manufacturers have a good idea as to how long the parts in your vehicle will last under normal driving conditions. For this reason, they give us guidelines to follow regarding how often to inspect the various parts and systems on our vehicles.

Vehicular components are required to meet certain standards. The government mandates some of these standards. Others are set by the auto industry. Fuel Saving Tip: Car Weight and Your FL Driving

Weight is the enemy of fuel economy. Everyone from Jupiter knows this makes sense.

Some of us in the Jupiter area carry a bunch of unnecessary weight, and I'm not talkin' what you see in the mirror.

Jupiter Drivers Severe Service Maintenance Schedules

Since driving requirements and lifestyles differ among Jupiter drivers, your vehicle manufacturer publishes two auto maintenance schedules: the regular schedule and the severe service schedule. Which schedule should Jupiter drivers follow? Here are some questions to ask yourself:

A Clean Start (Battery Cleaning)

You may be fanatical about keeping the outside of your vehicle clean.  But what about what's under the hood? Have you ever thought about how dirt and grime may be affecting your engine's components?

One of the most important parts under your hood to keep clean is your vehicle's battery.  With a daily barrage of dirt and moisture, outside parts of your battery can corrode, namely the cables and terminals.
